Barre3

Barre3 is an effective and efficient workout that combines strength, cardio, and mindfulness.

Throughout the workout, you’ll strengthen your muscles with weights and resistance bands and isometric moves, challenge your stabilizing muscles with mindful functional movements, boost your heart rate with cardio bursts, and open your body with muscle-releasing stretches.

Barre3 instructors will challenge you to find your edge while creating space for you to define what success looks like for you in every workout.

Barre3 is a workout, but it’s also a movement to redefine what success in fitness means. Traditional fitness touts exercise as a means to change ourselves, making each workout a battle against our bodies. At barre3, instead of exercising to meet an end goal, we exercise to be present in our bodies. Exactly as they are in this very moment. When we exercise to honor our bodies and give them what they need, we create a healthy relationship based on love, not shame. Suddenly, movement is joyful, and we crave it.

ELEVATED PHYSICAL THERAPY & MOVEMENT

Dr. Amanda DeRosa is a Flastaff native. She has 16 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, with a special interest in treating athletes and return to sport rehabilitation.

Amanda grew up playing soccer, running track and eventually playing D1 soccer at Northern Arizona University (NAU). Throughout her sports career, Amanda underwent knee and ankle surgeries, sparking her interest in physical therapy. After completing her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from NAU in 2004, she continued her schooling and graduated in 2007 from NAU with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Amanda has followed her passion of owning her own business and opened Elevated Physical Therapy and Movement, LLC, in 2023. She believes in not just treating the area of pain, but assessing how the body moves to identify potential factors that might be contributing to pain. Her credentials include: Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Astym Certified, Certified Kinesiotape Practitioner (CKTP), Functional Movement Screen (FMS) I & II Certified, Selective Functional Movement Assessment Certified (SFMA), CrossFit Level-1 Certified, Functional Dry Needling Certified.

During Amanda’s downtime, she enjoys CrossFit, running and most importantly hanging out with her family and attending her kid’s many sporting events.
